About

My Story
Growing up as an athlete eating food was the easy part. The biggest reward after working tirelessly on the tennis courts was a sizeable meal waiting at home. As my training slowed down it was counter intuitive for my eating habits to stay the same.
I was able to find that balance where I could enjoy the same amazing meals without costing me inches on my waist. That's why I chose to become a Certified Nutrition Coach. Eating is the easy part, thinking about what you're eating and when is what gets confusing. That's why I want to help you reach a healthy happy lifestyle that is tailored towards your life and your goals!
Getting injured was another component of growing up as an athlete. After multiple injuries and long months of physical therapy, I didn't feel as good as I had before. That's where I found yoga. I started taking classes and found my pain subsiding the more I went. I felt more like the athlete I was before my injuries. After many years of developing my own practice I found what worked best for me. This encouraged me to pursue my 200 hour yoga certification. Teaching yoga came naturally to me after instructing group fitness for years. I hope to instill the same sense of clarity, release and happiness that I found in yoga onto you with individualized private sessions!
Our Story
Food is medicine. Movement is medicine. It's that simple. What we put into our bodies can either nourish us or harm us. Poor or lack of movement can harm us just as much. That's the belief system here at Prevent to Prosper. Finding ways to prevent a future illness or disease by simply finding that perfect eating lifestyle and movement routine tailored to each individual is what will allow us to be healthy beings for as long as possible!
